About us

KAF began its life in 2003 with a small grant from the Arts Council and an audience of just 2000 people.

Since then it has become the flagship project of Wyre Forest District Council's Arts and Play Development portfolio.  KAF now works with a huge range of partners, commissions new work and reaches audiences of over 100,000 people.

KAF relies almost entirely on external funding; if you would like to help by supporting the event you can contribute through the link on our contacts page or contact us directly by email.

In 2015 Earthen Lamp conducted an Audience Evaluation and Economic Impact Study kindly funded by Worcestershire County Council's Open for Business Fund, this research will be continued in 2016.
