Event: Monster Colours'  - Tombs Creatius 

Giant board games to test your puzzle solving skills.

All the way from sunny Spain comes Tombs Creatius with a set of their latest street toys 'Monster Colours' for us all to play with. The game is never quite clear, but the fun is in the journey of how we play. Designed for adults and children alike, this set of 25 different games are colourful, wooden creations inspired by the opportunity to design games for a festival in Costa Rica.

Event: 'Sprung' - Kazzum

Picture the scene. A sofa pops up in Exchange Place. Around it, dancers bounce, wheel and jump, using the sofa and inspiration from the audience to challenge perceptions of who can dance. This spirited, comic piece is set to the tunes of a trombone player, donning a pink tutu!

This performance by Kazzum creates an opportunity for disabled artists and young people to interact, encouraging young people to view disability and diversity in a positive way.

Event: 'Nosy Parkers' - Open Theatre Company

Nosy Parkers will be wandering around the town, observing the comings and goings, poking their noses into your business - in a most charming manner of course! Open Theatre Company has worked with young people with learning differences from the Wyre Forest to create this company of Nosy Parkers especially for KAF2017.

Event: 'Pin Curl and Dyesome' - Hijinx

Fancy a new Do? Select our strolling Salon and see what we can do for you ... Pins, Perms, Curls and Colours, our scissor-handed stylists serve up the new you here at Pin, Curl and Dyesome.  Comedy Mask Theatre on your doorstep...

A hilarious piece of inclusive theatre in a mobile hair salon, performed by Welsh theatre academy Hijinx.

What makes Hijinx different is that their casts always include actors who have learning disabilities. The ability of these effortlessly talented performers is what makes their shows completely absorving, provocative and disarmingly charming - these guys are just amazing.

Event: The People’s Gallery - Clik Clik Collective

Come and release your creative expressions while you take part in a collaborative exhibition! The People’s Gallery is a pop-up gallery wall encouraging you to create patterns, drawings and words as part of one big piece of community art .

Event: The Sensory Room   

Escape the hustle and bustle outside to explore and interact at your own pace. Our cosy sensory room is a safe indoor space for relaxation and/or stimulation.

At the centre of the room is a MUSII - A Multisensory Interactive Inflatable - a large toy specially developed for play therapy. Relax in the ambient lighting on the beanbags and sensory blanket, and admire the holographic 'dot' mobiles. Or play with one of our Fibre Optic Lighting Strand toys too.

This sensory room uses toys and principles found in therapy centres, and is wonderful for people who experience sensory disabilities, ADHD, neuroaffective disorders, Autism and more. It's also a wonderfully playful, relaxing and curious place for anyone to spend a little time in.

Location: The Hub, Vicar Street.
